Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SalahMax → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open SalahMax on your new device, go to the paywall screen, and tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Prayer times seem incorrect. What should I do?

Ensure location services are enabled for SalahMax (Settings → Privacy → Location Services → SalahMax). The app uses your location to calculate accurate prayer times.

You can also change the calculation method and madhab in the app's Settings screen to match your preference.

How do I change the calculation method?

Go to Settings within the app and select your preferred prayer time calculation method (Diyanet, ISNA, Muslim World League, etc.).

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data. You can also email us at support@salahmax.com to request account deletion.

Does SalahMax work offline?

Prayer tracking, streaks, and prayer times work offline once you've set your location. Features that require a connection (leaderboards, friends, Cemaat) need the internet to sync.
